Hunger-Free Jackson
Because of our generous donors, we are able to help those who need it most in the Jackson community. This year, demand for food is at an all-time high and the need is ongoing.
Here is the impact of our food ministries in the last 12 months in Jackson County:
- 44,400 people served in Jackson last year
- 740,000 pounds of food distributed in Jackson County last year
- 17 community food pantries run throughout Jackson County
We are currently facing some challenges in our mission to provide meals to those in need, including:
- An increase in demand for our services
- A decrease in supply of food from food banks
- Greater difficulty in finding affordable, quality sources of protein
- General increase in the cost for all items needed to operate
With these things in mind, please consider making a donation today to help our neighbors who are struggling.
